FC Barcelona has established their place in the UEFA Champions League final four by delivering a technically impressive and strong 90 minutes of football on Tuesday April 03,2012 at the Camp Nou,Spain.

FC Barcelona dominated possession and showed a high level of ball control; they continue to enhance their undeniable reputation as the greatest club in Europe and world football.
Only 10 minutes into the match, a defensive transgression from Milan defender Luca Antonini cost the Italian side dearly, as he brought down Argentine striker Lionel Messi inside the box and Lionel Messi made no mistake as he easily struck the penalty through Milan’s goal in the 11th minute


AC Milan Midfielder Antonio Nocerino's goal levelled the match in the 32nd minute.

FC Barcelona Captain Puyol and Sergio Busquets were grabbed by their shirts. This off-the-ball incident gave Barcelona a corner five minutes out from the half-time break.Alessandro Nesta once again handed the opportunity to Lionel Messi to slot in another penalty for the match in the 41st minute

This provided Barcelona the crucial 2-1 lead at half time.
FC Barcelona continued to keep possession and run hard off the ball. In the 53rd minute, Lionel
Messi’s shot tdeflected off AC Milan defender Philippe Mexes, and  Andre Iniesta picked up the rebound and scored the 3rd goal for Barca beating AC Milan Goalkeeper Abbiati once again.

Another Real Madrid victory looks all but certain following the first leg in Cyprus on March 27,2012, when they were made to work hard but eventually ran out 3-0 winners thanks to late goals from Karim Benzema (74, 90) and Kaká (82)
Before the match, Madrid paid tribute to Jose Maria Zarraga, a member of the Madrid team that won a record five straight European Cups between 1956-60, who died on Tuesday April 03,2012.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice(in the 27th and 75th minute) and Kaka(in the 37th minute) added a first-half goal as Real Madrid completed their easy passage into the Champions League semi-finals with a 5-2 victory over Apoel FC

Ten-man Chelsea FC( as captain John Terry was sent off on 37 minutes) trailing 2-0 to FC Barcelona pulled off a remarkable rearguard action to reach the 2012 UEFA Champions League final.
