Sport Lisboa e Benfica , commonly known as simply Benfica or SLB, is a Portuguese Multi Sports Club based in Lisbon,Portugal.
Though Benfica competes in a number of different sports, it is mostly known for its Association Footbal Team .
Founded in 1904,Sport Lisboa e Benfica (originally known as Grupo Sport Lisboa) is one of the Tres Grandes  (Big Three)Football Clubs in Portugal - Sporting and FC Porto being the other 2 clubs

Benfica plays at the "Estádio da Luz" and is officially named the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, and is a Football Stadium in Lisbon,Portugual, the home of Benfica. It is called "a Catedral" (the Cathedral) by the Benfica fans.
