Luis Suárez(Liverpool) Bites Branislav Ivanović(Chelsea)


Luis Suárez could receive another lengthy suspension after he appeared to bite Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanović(Chelsea) during the Liverpool Vs Chelsea match on Sunday April 21,2013

In the 65th minute, Suárez and Ivanović were involved in a collision inside Chelsea's penalty area which led to a Liverpool corner, however replays showed Suárez sink his teeth into the Serbian's arm.

A statement on the FA website said: 'A three-person Independent Regulatory Commission today upheld The FA’s claim that a suspension of three matches was clearly insufficient and the player will serve a further seven first-team matches in addition to the standard three. The suspension begins with immediate effect.
