Violin Maestro Lalgudi G. Jayaraman passes away - Monday April 22,2013

The violin maestro Lalgudi G. Jayaraman(September 17, 1930 - April 22, 2013at the age of 82 years died in chennai on Monday April 22,2013 and is survived by his wife, son G.J.R. Krishnan and daughter G.J.R. Vijayalakshmi

Jayaraman was born at Lalgudi in Tiruchi district of Tamil Nadu. He learnt music from his father Lalgudi Gopala Iyer and gave his first concert in 1942 at the age of 12
